launch Apache OpenOffice and new a writer document

new successfully

input some text,and enable "Styles and Formatting" dialog by "F11"

"Styles and Formatting" dialog pop up

click any style and from context menu select "New" to create a new paragraph style, in 'Organizer' tab input "NEW_Paragraph" in name edit box, click 'OK' to close the dialog

A new paragraph style named "NEW_Paragraph" successfully create in the paragraph style list

Select "NEW_Paragraph" style in paragraph style list of "Styles and Formatting" dialog, click "Modify" from context menu and switch to "Outline & Numbering" tab

select "Level 1" from "Outline level" list box, select "Numbering 1" from "Number Style" list box, click 'OK' button to close the dialog

Select some paragraphs and from 'Styles and Formatting' dialog, double click style 'NEW_Paragraph' to apply the style

The selected paragraphs are set default numbering

Save to odt file and reopen it with AOO, and check the numbering

the text in the document shown same effect with previous step
