Summary:

To modify/provide the content of an Input Field it is possible to directly perform the corresponding edit operations inside the document's text area

Preconditions:

Open AOO

Start AOO Writer

Start Successfully.

Open the Fields dialog by (Menu - Insert - Fields - Others) on pane Functions

Open Successfully

Switch to Variables Tab,Select User Field Variables in the Type list area

Type the text that you want to display as a help tip when you rest the mouse pointer over the field., and click "Insert" button

Click OK button.

Click Close button

The reference was inserted  successfully

While the cursor is inside an Input Field  inside the document's text area ,edit operation (such as insert texts , delete texts ....)

Only text content shall be inserted into Input Fields.

No formatting shall be possible inside Input Fields.

No other attributes, like a hyperlink, a ruby, a page break or a column break, shall be possible inside Input Fields.

It is possible to directly perform the corresponding edit operations

Apply a formatting while the cursor is inside an Input Field

Applying formatting to text content.

Applying a formatting  shall be applied to the complete Input Field.

Default Formatting while the cursor is inside an Input Field

The insertion of a 'New Paragraph' character or the key input of the ENTER-Key inside an Input Field.

Shall result into an insertion of a line break

Undo/Redo several times inside input field

Undo/Redo successfully

Save and Load of documents containing Input Fields.
