Description htmunn 2009-02-22 02:16:47 UTC
Mis-spelled words are not underlined.

To reproduce:
Open OOO310m1 (Build:9384)
Install a spelling dictionary in extensions.
Set Language and and Writing Aids to show this dictionary with check mark.
Open a new document in Writer.
Ensure the Paragraph/Font/language box shows the same dictionary.
Type a nonsense word, e.g. asdfaf
No red underlining is shown.

However, Tools/Spelling and Grammar does find mis-spellings.

I checked with "Ooo Dev 3.1.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOo310m2
(Build 9385)]" and can confirm the reported effect

@htmunn:
Unfortunately your report is much to rare to find out what your problem might be.
Please read our guidelines on
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html> and
<http://www.openoffice.org/bugs/bug_writing_guidelines.html>, then
contribute all relevant information concerning your OOo (localization?, What
language packs did you install from what source?), a clear step by step
instruction containing all observations (error
messages ...), every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce the
problem, and explain why you believe that your results are unexpected.

This is a duplicate, but now I just can't find the first report in IZ. It is a
stopper for 3.1.
