Description philevans 2009-02-18 08:02:39 UTC
When editing an OO Impress presentation, when you click in the "slides" pane,
activating that pane, the pane immediately scrolls to the top. A similar problem
exists in the "Slide sorter" view, only in this case it is more serious because
if one enters slide sorter and tries to double click on, e.g. slide 49 (to edit
it), the first click causes the view to reset itself, and the second click then
lands on (e.g) slide 8 and the user ends up editing that, and being very
disoriented. This bug exists in OO 3.0.0 and 3.0.1

Which distribution do you use and do you use an original OOo version or from
some other distributor ? Thanks in advance.

For OO 3.0.0 I was using the version included in OpenSuse Linux 11.1, i.e. from
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.1/repo/oss/suse/i586/

For OO 3.0.1 I took the version from the OpenSuse community build service for
OpenOffice:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/STABLE/openSUSE_11.1/i586/

Hope this helps.

Since I cannot reproduce this with an original build this seems to be a problem
of the Open Suse builds. Please report the issue there. Thanks.
