There is NO cut an/or paste feature available either in the Edit menu or as an
icon on the taskbar.  Windows XP Control-x & Control-V do not work.
I do need to be able to cut and paste.  **I especially need to cut and paste
portions of a text document into an email online.

Is this happening in a specific document? If yes please attach it here.

This may be caused by a corrupted config. Please exit OOo, delete
folder "c:\documents and settings\[user]\Application data\openoffice.org3".
restart OOo and try again... does this help?
