Description tamiliam 2009-01-18 17:15:38 UTC
I'd like my native language Tamil (ta) to be included in the locale setting
dialog box for the current version of Open Office. Many thanks.

To be able to fully support Tamil as a locale, including number formats and
calendar data, and having it selectable as default document language we would
need a locale data file.

For details please see

There is a ta_IN.xml in there at the moment, and I can select Tamil from
tools->options->language settings->languages->CTL->Tamil in 3.0/3.1.
Is there anything additional needed, i.e. is that ta_IN.xml only partial support ?

Bah, don't know why I even accepted this, of course we have ta-IN locale data
since a long time ago.
