Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 9803
Create a table with maximum row, and still can insert rows
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:26:03 UTC
1)Invoke OpenOffice.org 643C. 2)-> File -> New -> Text Document 3)-> Insert -> Table 4)Enter “3276” (The maximum row size of one table) to “Rows”. Leave the rest of choices as default value 5)-> OK 6)Note there create a table with maximum size of rows, -> Row ->Insert 7)Enter “99” to Amount, -> OK 8)Now note that the page is changing to larger. And it’s obviously some rows have been inserted into the table. Now what is about “The maximum number of rows”?
Thank you for using and supporting OOo. Duplicated on RH 8.0, OOo 643c. Bounds issue with table.
Summary: Should OOo let the user add more rows to a table that already has 3276 rows in it?
MT->OS: Strange max value, why?
For some reason the number of cells is limited to 16384. (#49479#) This is a random limit. Technically a lot more is possible.
Target milestone set.
SBA: According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap http://tools.openoffice.org/releases this issue was retargeted to "OOo Later".
Prio set to 4
