Description sforbes 2002-12-03 23:36:57 UTC
In OO prefrences, there are prefrences for exporting HTML. What of the options
is "character set". There are no Hebrew character sets in the list- I would
expect to see at least iso-8859-8 there, if not windows-1255 (which is a
superset of windows-1255, thus contaning charcters that the former does not have)

to repro:
1) make sure hebrew support is enabled
2) tools -- options -- load/save -- html/compatbilty
3) look for a hebrew charset in the export list

DL->MIB: Would you please takeover?
Comment 2 michael.brauer 2003-01-17 13:17:59 UTC
The possible HTML character sets are the ones that have a MIME type
registerd. Eicke, can you please evaluate ehyi iso-8859-8 does not appear?
Comment 3 ooo 2003-01-17 16:05:48 UTC
Encoding simply is not listed in svx/source/dialog/txenctab.src, nor
are other Hebrew and Arabic encodings. They aren't offered in any
character set dialog. Strange that not anybody complained about this
so far..

@Elizabeth:
I suggest the following entries, please confirm (or correct) and
reassign this issue to me when done.

German:

Hebräisch (DOS/OS2-862)

EM->ER
The strings are fine as listed (with proper umlaut in German ;-). I'm
so glad that this error was discovered!

The Hebrew encodings do not appear in CVS build 20030223. Am I missing
something?
