On KDE desktops accessing the menubutton on the Tools/Customize frequently fails.

- Change the warnlog to say so
- Try to use global routines for accessing the control (proposed by HDE, might fix)

Fixed, needs verification on all platforms.

The issue is fixed ok, but only if the Office is killed and the userlayer is
deleted in advance (on KDE). All other Desktops/OSes do not have this limitation.
