I manage my stock photo sales through a spreadsheet. For each sale, I track

* sale date
* image sold (as a picture thumbnail anchored to the row)
* amount sold for

each on a separate row.

Often I want to sort the images by date. So I select all the rows (and 
columns), choose the sort option and make it sort by the first row (the sale 
date). But when I sort, the images are not reordered, only the top and bottom 
rows containing the sale date and the amount. What I want of course is that the 
images also get reordered.
