Description issues@www 2001-05-26 23:43:32 UTC
OpenOffice 619 build: after entering setup, when I click Next> the system freeze
completely: mouse pointer won't move, can't CTRL-ALT-F1 to terminal, can't
CTRL-ALT-DEL - have to power down.

Consistent - tried three times, happens in exactly the same place each time.

Interestingly, same issue present with StarOffice 5.2 - exactly the same
problem.

My system: Compaq Presario 128MB RAM 40GB HD 900MHz AMD proc, running Linux
2.4.3 kernel and X, KDE, XFree86 etc. as installed by Mandrake 8.0. Display
card is an S3 Savage 4 with 16MB VRAM - rumoured to be linked to system freezes
on occasion.

Still reported as 863.
Please have a look at
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31879
There you'll find a workaround.
