I'm building this version of OOo on a gentoo linux system. All packages are
up to date bordering on bleeding edge, and i'm building with sun-jdk 1.4.1.01
as my java environment. Only reason i include this is becuase the same build
was successful with blackdown-jdk 1.4 beta.

(i have to test all these different configurations b/c i'm now the package
maintainer for OOo at gentoo, fyi)

thanks,

seth

Hi seth, is this issue still relevant? Was /proc mounted?
Comment 2 Unknown 2003-02-13 12:24:40 UTC
yeah /proc was mounted...

still can't get 1.0.2 to build with the sun-jdk....still causing random idlc segfaults, some
other stuff...

its quite odd, i can't seem to make it duplicate any one bug, but it will bug out
somewhere in the compiel with sun jdk...

(now with blackdown it emerges fine, and i have tried this on about a dozen
machines...)

btw, i'm the gentoo.org maintainer for openoffice, nice to meetcha =)

mh->armin: when setting target, it's also ok to confirm the issue ?!
Comment 4 Unknown 2003-03-14 11:45:01 UTC

I am also seeing this problem on Irix, compiling 11beta with gcc-2.95.3
