When opening a Word XML document saved by MS Word 2007 in OOo3.0,
the ASCII Filter Options dialog appears and then the document is displayed as a
text.

SBA: Confirmed. Note: Pre-selecting the Word2003 xml filter has no influence.

I am a little puzzled about the unzipped Word 2007 format, isn't it usually a
.docx zip?

In case it is in real a worldml2003 file, the issue target has to be set to "OOo
needs help", otherwise in case of Word 2007, isn't it rather a case your you,
Henning?

The file attached is not a DOCX file which we would handle. It is a flat XML
file produced by Word 2007 in which the structure is encoded in XML tags rather
than a zip package.

These kind of files are currently not on my TODO list. But, if there is someone
in the community, i would be happy to give some advice.
