Description mikeymikemike 2008-10-23 10:03:22 UTC
Running on OOo 3.0, Dutch build. In order to contribute to the forum or to file
issues I need to work with the English User Interface.

In the current situation it is terrible to add an extra Languagepack to OOo 3.0
Reasons:
- Wiki for langpacks are outdated:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Download_OpenOffice.org_LanguagePacks
- Difficult to find Langpack (only one):
http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html

Workaround in OOo 2x:
- In OOO 2x I have always installed a different build of OOo in a separate
folder. This created 2 icons in my system tray: one for English UI, one for
Dutch UI.
- In OOo 3.0 it is not possible to install more OOo's in separate folders.

Request: Every language build needs to install 2 User Interfaces: the build
language (i.e. Dutch) and the English one. The build language is set as Default.
The English UI is optional via Tools > options > Language Settings > Languages > UI
