I have a partially transparent gradient filled rectangle behind text box 
elements.

The second text element has a Cross-fade effect.  When it fades in it corrupts 
the background.  (I think it loses the transparency.)

The laser effect of the third element restores some of it.

I can reproduce the bug. The second effect is a laser effect not a
cross fade effect.

The fix is integrated in the latest internal version.
The fix will be available in the OOo1.1Beta.
I close the issue
