Description karl_klammer 2008-10-10 23:22:47 UTC
formatted fonts in textboxes created in an Impress document under OOo2.4 (32bit
WindowsXP version, 32bit and 64bit Kubuntu versions) or OOo3.0rc1-4 (64bit
Debian version) and saved as MS PowerPoint 97/2000/XP are incorrectly formatted
in OOo3.0rc1 to Rc4: Black-colored superscript characters will become white and
at normal position, subscript characters will become cyan and at normal
position. Opening this PPT file under MS PowerPoint XP shows the correct
character positions and colors.

Adding additional text boxes with upper- or lowercase characters and re-saving
the document as a ppt file will leave the destroyed formatting of characters
from the first version but will correctly show the newer upper- or lowercase
characters. This 2nd generation PPT file looks identical under MS PowerPoint XP,
i.e. the destroyed character formatting from the first version now is also
present in MS PowerPoint XP, and the newer changes are shown correctly.
