Sometime when I lauch OpenOffice on a Word File, OO crashes X11 and I see a
black console with login. After several seconds X11 is relaunched with the login
screen.

I have this problem since I installed 1.0.1 provided by RedHat8.0 

I have a matrox graphic card.

Please attach the word file that is causing your system to crash.

Ideally, please provide the information detailed in "Reporting a font
