Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 93402
Can not write %DELTA%omega as one "word" without spaces
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:39:04 UTC
Could it be possible to be able to write %DELTA%omega as one "word/variable" without spaces?
Currently it is only possible if you set the Spacing in "Format.Spacing" Dialog to 0%. But then there will be also no spacing anymore between a+b=c for example... In the future we should look to implement a keyword in the formula code which only removes the default spacing for certain parts of a formula.
I would be glad to have this feature. Could it be possible to implement it in the next release??? It it wery often used when writing scientific papers etc.
Sorry, it is not possible to implement into next release. Please do not re-assign issues from the owner "requirements" to any other user. UX team will decide when this should be implemented and then reassigned to a developer.
This should be solved with the new attribute nospace, see issue 109020. Please try the new OOo3.3 (currently RC8), which has got this feature.
