Description zirneklitis 2008-08-26 10:31:29 UTC
In OOo 3.0 beta as well as 3.x Developer Snapshots the installed extensions are
places in directories like

../opt/ooo-dev3/share/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages

or

../OOo-dev 3/share/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages

In both paths the directory name 'cache' is used. The content of directories
with such names could be accidentally wiped out by different disk utilities as
'cache' means something temporal. The directory should be renamed.

Setting RFE, target "OOo Later", prio 4, to bh.
Note that it is quite a bad idea to let a tool run on your system that kills
anything that remotely sounds like a temporary file. It's pretty much like a rm
-rf *, isn't it? ;-)

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
