start with blank spreadsheet
on sheet 1 enter a value in B2
in sheet 2 click on B1 and then Window > Freeze
still in in sheet 2, click on B1, press = key then click the tab for sheet 1, in
sheet 1 click cell B2, press Enter
in sheet 2 the cell B1 should show value from sheet1.B2, but it just shows '='

I checked with "Ooo-dev 3.0.0 Beta Multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[OOO300m3 (Build9344)]"  and can confirm the reported effect. Same with  "2.4.1
 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]"
Seems to be some formatting issue, although "number - Standard" is shown, the
cells wor as if formatting "Text" has been selected. 

Sometimes I was able to heal that effect after I changed formatting of one cell
to "Number - -1234". After that for this cell and all further reference worked
as expected.
