In both VCL canvas and cairo canvas (both Mac Aqua & Linux X11), the wave
underline does not render correctly as visible in impress
normal view, but renders the wave as straight line in fullscreen view.

AFAIK I implemented that in CWS aw033...

Good to know that it might be fixed already.

Feel free to include this bug in cws aw033 or mark it as duplicate...

I really hope aw033 finally gets integrated to OOo 3.1.

This will not help per se - someone (I guess me) would need to port slideshow to
use the drawing layer primitives as well.
