Comment 3 caolanm 2002-11-15 17:18:53 UTC
That's extremely interesting, it appears that part of the document is
in the 8bit baltic text encoding CP1257 which has 0x9A as undefined,
but its used here and word displays it as CP1252 0x9A instead. Some
experiments add to some evidence that word defaults undefined chars
back to cp1252 before giving up.

We should do the same then...
Comment 4 caolanm 2002-11-15 17:23:56 UTC
confirmed.
Comment 5 caolanm 2002-11-15 17:30:50 UTC
Fix checked in to implement this, SRX644n I expect. As a nice side
effect the fix gives some speed optimization for the normal case of
characters that don't fail to convert.
Comment 6 caolanm 2002-11-19 10:39:39 UTC
Working in SRX644n
Comment 7 michael.ruess 2002-11-26 11:58:36 UTC
yes, looks better in srx644o.
Fix will be public with OpenOffice 644.
Comment 8 michael.ruess 2002-11-29 11:08:12 UTC
Fix will be included in OpenOffice 1.1 beta.
