In both a Text Dcument and a Spreadsheet, when I try to send document as email it opens up an outlook message 
window.  I filled in the To field and then tried to send it and nothing happened.  I clicked on from and found that 
there was no from address.  I put in my address in the from and tried to send again.  No luck.  I have tried with 
outlook open and closed.  I found that by clicking the send button many times (10-50) it will sometimes send.
I 
have outlook 2002 SP-1, connecting to a microsoft exchange server.

ATR: I can't reproduce this issue. I think This is more a Outlook
problem, because the office starts the mailer and deliver the
attachment correctly.
