Description Unknown 2002-11-06 17:43:36 UTC
This is an existing issue (7331) which was 'resolved'. Unfortunately the
msvcrt fix does not work - see the feedback on the original issue.
I have raised this as a new issue as I am not sure how to reopen the original.

Forgot to say - this is a Windows 95 issue only. Another person I
have contacted has tried loading a fresh build of both Win95A and
Win95B, applying the msvcrt fix, and reinstalling OpenOffice. Still
no joy. Same as me - only I have just tried the early Win95 version.

Do you have the DCOM95 update on your machine?
Comment 3 Unknown 2002-11-07 15:43:00 UTC
Yes, I have DCOM. (I found in the past that Installation crashes
more or less straight away without this.) Generally I use the one I
downloaded from the MS website (although the IE5 upgrade seems to
install it also).

What do I do to get someone to look at this problem?
Comment 6 Olaf Felka 2002-11-18 12:50:12 UTC
Hi Tino,
I have an ambiguous memory that you have made some fixings for this
problem. OOo 1.0.1 still has the problem for Win95 users. Can't test
with OOo643 because of the unicows problem
