Description kirkpreston 2008-05-05 14:18:32 UTC
In Windows in Write I tried to insert a graphical page background (watermark) on
to a page using a *.gip image. The inserted image looked correct in the preview
box but when applied to the page it became huge and out of proportion. When I
did the same with the same image but this time saved in *.jpeg instead of *.gif,
the image inserted correctly with the right proportions. I wonder if there is a
problem inserting backgrounds in Write in Windows with *.gif images.

I cannot reproduce this with my sample gif images. Could you please attach the
graphic file you tried to use as watermark?
BTW: did you insert the gif via Insert.Picture or via Format.Page.Background?
