I have tried to install Sun Report Builder 1.0.2 on OOoDev300 m10 and on
OOoBEA300m1. In both cases the installation started, so that I get the license
agreement. But than OOo crashes. There was no error report generated.

Hi,

I can't reproduce this under windows XP. 

Do you have more information how to reproduce this issue.

I use both with German language pack. I have installed with "setup.exe -a" and
set user directory to "UserInstallation=../../../userBetaM1" in bootstrp.ini

After computer restart and trying again I get Visual C++ Runtime Error in
sofffice.bin. Tried again with disabled virus scanner and got a crash without
report and without error message as described.

I try installing without open document but directly in start window.

The Sun Report Builder was downloaded from
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/reportdesign immediately before.

I have now installed Visual C++ Express Edition 2008, therefore I've got a
msvcr90.dll installed. OOo now doesn't crash when I try to install Sun Report
Builder, but it still doesn't install.

Now the installation breaks with an error in the extension manager, see attached
screenshot.

The java error is solved. The path of UserInstallation in bootstrap.ini was
wrong, I corrected it and SUN Report Builder now installs with OOoBEA300m2.

But the problem remains, that I had to install the msvcr90.dll to make it work.
Please try installing on a system, which hasn't got msvcr90.dll.

now we have a srb 1.0.3 - does this fix the problem?

Note that 1.0.4, not 1.0.3, is the most recent version at the moment of this
writing.

never head anything equal in newer version, so it seems to be solved in between
-> set invalid
