When inserting several dozens of control fields (check boxes) in a multi-page
text document, scrolling through the pages is very slow and scrolling is not
smooth (although it is enabled in "Tools - Options - Writer - View").

fixed in CWS c07v018, by saving 2000 or so queryInterface calls during every
paint ...

Note: This one hase been fixed for DEV300 code line (Target OOo 3.0) via CWS
controlperformance.

Hi all,
I'm checking this issue. I find it takes very long time to load the sample 
document. Much longer than OOo2.4.

After it's loaded, I can't see anything different between OOo2.4 and OOo3.0RC1.

I'm using OOo3.0RC1 under windows XP.

this document in 3.0? The problem doesn't really fit into this issue here, which
talks about scrolling performance, not loading performance. Thanks.

Issue 88693 has been fixed in master version OOo-dev 3.1 .0 (OOO310m9 Build:9396) 
for Windows XP and can be closed.

Checked on OOo310m9, Windows Vista - the attached document is loaded for 
~4min., after that the scrolling is OK.

submitted issue 101398 for the performance problem in initially displaying the
document with the many form controls.
