I don't understand what is meant with 'Home' button? What kind of Desktop link?

Starting with OOo 3.0, we create an OOo link on the desktop. If this link is
called the start center is shown. This should also happen if another document is
already open. Today the focus will just be set to that document. Changing this
behavior needs some technical changes and AS stated that this is not possible
for the OOo 3.0 target.

A new Home button would be another possibility to give the user direct access to
the start center. Start center should be further developed in 3.1 to an
information and community touch point.

Branch-date (feature- and code-freeze) for OOo 3.2 is nearly done. Therefore I
change the target of this issue to OOo 3.x. If you think it is a stopper for OOo
3.2 please change the target back.
