Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 8724
Writer crashes when attempting to modify a table cell properties
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:23 UTC
I created a table in a text document. Most of the cells have been split. When I right click on a cell and select Table from the pop-up menu, writer crashes. I believe it is related to the document as I created a new document, inserted a table, and had no problem in right clicking on a cell and selecting Table. The crash occurs no matter what cell I select yet all other functionality works fine (cut and paste etc). If I select a cell with the mouse by dragging over it so it is reversed (blackened), right clicking on it and selecting Table then works fine. I have saved the offending file and can supply it. I am using the Mandrake-Linux 9 version of Oen Office (1.0.1 Let me know if you need anything further... Tom.
Tom, thank you for using and supporting OOo. Please attach the file that consistently reproduces this problem. Ideally, the file will be short, containing only what is necessary to reproduce this issue.

Tom, thanks for attaching the file. Duplicated on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 643. Right click on any cell inside the table, select Table from the pop up menu and OOo crashes.
