Description Unknown 2002-10-25 19:38:57 UTC
There are two possible resolutions to this:

1. Don't display "Commit" button so that the user knows they aren't logged in.
2. Post information that user tried to submit after they log in successfully.
This is how Mozilla's bugzilla works.
Comment 1 brant 2002-11-04 19:05:53 UTC
I vote for the second resolution given.

I can confirm this issue. IssueZilla should remember the submitted
changes while the user logs in. Additionally, it could be good idea
to disable field changes based on login status and user privelidges.

It would be great if, not only the issue changes were saved, but any
action/link that requires login would go to the login page, but
remember the action/link and apply it after login. Issuezilla is the
most noticeable but there are others too.

hi
IssueZilla is part of SourceCast; we use a rather ancient version and it will be
upgraded later this year. I do not have a full list of the enhancements featured but
will mark this later; reopen please if necessary for RFE for subsequent releases.

Is there any Issue to track when the upgrade of IssueZilla will take
place?
Comment 6 lsuarezpotts 2003-10-27 23:14:21 UTC
specifically IZ, not really.
We also don't really have a firm deadline for the IZ upgrade.
