Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 87019
MacOSX : URE/SDK filenames
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:51:31 UTC
Currently, for MacOSX, SDK and URE are packaged as: OOo-SDK_3.0__install_en-US.dmg URE_2.0__install_en-US.dmg . This is not correct IMHO, according to Linux's filename convention, OOo-SDK_2.3.0rc1_LinuxIntel_install.sh and OOo-URE_1.3_linux_install_en-US.sh, for MacOSX they should be OOo-SDK_3.0_MacOSXIntel_install.dmg and OOo-URE_2.0_MacOSXIntel_install.dmg .
Of course for MacOSX PowerPC, OOo-SDK_3.0_MacOSXPowerPC_install.dmg and OOo-URE_2.0_MacOSXPowerPC_install.dmg . or something simular.
Hi obr, I think you will be interested in.
What puzzles *me* is the URE_2.0 part, it should rather be URE_1.3 or URE_1.4 (depending on whether you consider it post-OOo-2.3-related or pre-OOo-3.0-related), see <http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/UNO_%40since_Tags>.
