Description udippel 2002-10-25 05:17:51 UTC
I tried to protect a graph by setting the focus on it / its surrounding cells
(Format Cells ... ->Cell Protection->Protected). The GUI (Gnome) froze and I had
to use Ctrl-Alt-Backslash to go back to the terminal.

Here is what it said:
".....(II) R128(0): [drm] removed 1 reserved context for kernel
(II) R128(0): [drm] unmapping 4096 bytes of SAREA 0xd08bc000 at 0x40017000"

I restarted X (successfully) and then tried to start OpenOffice: no success.
In ps aux I found:
"udippel 10258 0.2 15.7 170660 40100 ? S Oct17 22:47
/usr/lib/OpenOffice.org1.0.1/program/soffice.bin
udippel 10287 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Oct17 0:00 [soffice.bin
<defunct>]"

Any idea?

Uwe, thank you for using and supporting OOo.

Please attach a file that consistently reproduces this problem.

If possible, see if this issue still exists with developer build 643.

Unable to duplicate on RH 8.0, OOo 643.
