Description ruedigerkluge 2002-10-22 17:14:28 UTC
If i try to open a .sxw document the writer program crashes. I get the message:

an unrecoverable error has occurred
all modified files have been saved and can
probably be recovered at program restart

but that is not true. the file can not be opened. if i click ok i get the
message box from Microsoft for bug tracing and i choose debug.

i get the message in Visual C++:

Unbehandelte Ausnahme in soffice.exe (XO643MI.dll): 0xC0000005:Access Violation

that means

untreated exception...

the call list is

XO643MI! 025f8f4a()
40000000()
XO643MI! 0265c70a()

the same happened with OpenOffice 1.0.1 ge

Unfortunately the document contains confidential customer information.
So i can not send it. sorry. is there another possibility? up to now
this is the only document not working. And i don`t know what really
happened with the document. I was working with some pictures which i
copied from internet and then breaking the links in --edit --links
menue. I try to make a second document with the same fault.

Perhaps this could be handled like a security bug and the problem file
could be sent to openoffice.org and not made available publically
through Bugzilla.
