Length of the window of colour choosing in OpenOffice - 10 colours, at the same
time length of a window of colours options - only 8. As a result configuration
of colours is "blindly". Yesterday I created my own palette of colours - built
colours on shades in a column like MSO2007 - thus in the course of adjustment it
is impossible to see a palette in that kind in which it will be in program.

It would be much more convenient to set up colours if to increase amount of
columns in OOo options on 2.

I mean this: see attached pictures - the same palette has different views while
configuring and using.

I can see the different width of the color dialog when I compare the textcolor
dialog and the color dialog in Format area.

To manage the many suggestions for enhancing the color palette, I have created a
meta-issue here:
Issue 105642 - Re-design and UI improvements for color palettes (meta-issue)

The purpose of the new issue is for management only, it does not duplicate
specific design requests (that we wish to capture).

Changed Summary to better reflect intended design request.
