Description maddox2 2008-01-06 20:43:03 UTC
In StarOffice 8 Update 9 using pdf export the user gets a warning if the entered
pdf filename already exists and gets the choice to overwrite or not. In
OOH680_m1 (tested with Pavels Build german Version) the file is overwriten
without warning.

This would seem to be a framework problem ?
Comment 2 maddox2 2008-01-07 17:53:44 UTC
Maybe i files it under the wrong component. GSL was the only one who mentioned
pdf export.
Comment 3 philipp.lohmann 2008-01-08 18:01:29 UTC
oops, wanted to reassign to proper owner
Comment 4 mikhail.voytenko 2008-01-09 12:50:53 UTC
Sorry, I can not reproduce the problem neither with System export dialog nor
with OOo export dialog. The dialogs always ask whether the file should be
overwritten.

Could you please provide more information regarding the scenario.
Comment 5 maddox2 2008-01-09 19:31:14 UTC
I tested it again on vista and xp and the problmen didn't appear again.

Sorry for the inconvenience
Comment 6 mikhail.voytenko 2008-01-10 09:07:30 UTC
Thank you for the fast feedback.
Closing.

I have this problem on OpenOffice.org 2.4 Development version (build OOH680_m2)
in Italian.

PDF Export does not warn before overwriting a file.

Checked on Windows XP Home SP2 in Italian.

Comment 8 mikhail.voytenko 2008-01-21 11:40:34 UTC
As I have written, the problem is not reproducible in my environment. And
according to the comment from submitter, it is not always reproducible on his
machines as well.

So if it is possible to reproduce the problem please provide as much details
regarding the scenario as possible:
- which dialog is used ( System or OOo )
- please describe the steps during reproducing in details ( including the used
menu-entries and/or toolbar buttons, the target file-name )
