Description Mechtilde 2007-12-10 15:15:31 UTC
I saw that there are many issues are closed as worksforme but I didn't found
this special problem.

I have a server with a Fat partion to use it also with a Win client.

Then I want also save files from a linux client to this partition via nfs.

When I save a file first I get an I/O Error message and an empty (0 B) file on
the nfs mounted fat partition. Then I save it again, I get a warning that the
file exists, and it saves correctly.

Also reading this file works.

I also try to save on a nfs mounted ext3 partition, it works without this problems.

So this problem also occurs only using fat partition
