Description evoci 2007-11-23 09:36:16 UTC
I have exchanged several times a document with colleagues, and everything went
smoothly until I have switched on record changes.
From then my colleagues were not able anymore to access the document. They
report OO freezes on the second page.
I had no way to verify this problem since I use OO 1:2.3.0.dfsg-2 on Debian
2.6.22 while they all use OO on Windows XP.
They were able to open the document again once I have switched off the record
changes.

I can attach the problematic file in case this would help.

MRU->AMA: pls have a look. The document will cause a loop when scrolling through
it. Maybe the combination of complex tables and Redlines will cause the problem.
In OO 2.3 the document caused a loop right after opening, so for 2.4 it improved
somehow in a way... :-|

Change tracking is not responsible for this loop (so I changed the summary).
Open the new attached document, it will loop even I removed all change tracking.
The loop is caused by table formatting. Maybe "looping louie" will detect and
stop this loop, but this will need ages. After more than half an hour the first
"looping louie" assertion appears.

Cannot be fixed until code freeze => target 3.0
Comment 7 frank.meies 2008-06-03 13:38:12 UTC
Due to restricted resources, I have to set the target to OOo 3.x.
