I am unable to resize the notes in Calc. I can click on Show Note but any time I
try to either move them or resize them focus is lost. On occassion I will get
the cross hair but it would disappear immediately.

This happens under both

Windows 2000 Oo 1.0.1

and

RedHat Linux with Ximian packaged Oo 1.0.0.

The handling of notes should be enhanced. It must be possible to
change at least the position, changing the color would be usefull also
for differentiating between several notes, especially when several
notes are side by side and overlapping.

Yes. Notes should have a resize or move feature. Better yet the formatting can 
also be change (like notes background as picture or any other color).

This feature is now available with issue 21253 and issue 25332. I will close
this as a duplicate of issue 25332.
