Description ckmcgee 2007-11-06 15:05:54 UTC
When OOo writer imports a file form word with both text and pictures it does not
import the entire file. It does go all the way to th end, but there are holes of
missing data throughout the imported document. Have you a fix?
best regards
CK McGee

I can only see slight differences to MS Word when opening the document e.g. as
in the line where the object states "+(3-1.5)²(.1323)".
But large holes as you described, I am not able to see...
Don't be confused by the "Normal" view in MS Word; switch to "Print" view after
opening it and it will show same as in Writer.

BTW: this is an RTF Document, not native Word format (nevertheless it maybe
created by MS Word)...

MRU->OD: could you please have a look, whether this is a problem in the object
handling or more in Karl's break iterator?
On page two, there are objects (see "+(3-1.5)²(.1323)") where a line break
separates the two objects. WW treats them as one word, which is quite more
logical IME.
