Because of the fact that most OS's (f.e. Win 2000) don't have a standard search
in ZIP files it would be a BIG improvement if it was possible to search trought
dirs/files from withim openoffice. 
"Searching in files" is a must for every professional computer user.
There are some freeware tools but they are not very user friendely and have
annoying popup's.

I doubt the sense of such a functionality in an office suite. I
consider this a task of your desktop, your operating system, whatever
- but I don't think that an office suite should do this.

We are using OpenOffice to write software specifications and can't
search throught files. This makes the suite almost worthless and no OS
offeres this feature.
