Description Unknown 2002-10-12 15:13:52 UTC
Versions 1.0.1 and 643 cannot edit formulas imported from word. It worked fine
in 1.0.

The error message is:
Error Activating Object: General OLE Error.

On a brighter note, the formalas appear much more correctly in 643 than previous
versions.

See: Tools->options->load/save->microsoft office->mathtype <->
starmath conversion

The default to always convert them changed between versions, without
conversion you get exactly the same image as was created in the
original application, but you cannot edit. With conversion you get the
a converted editable equation. The default was changed because it can
be very slow to convert all the embedded objects (especially when they
are excel sheets or powerpoint slides) in a document.

closed, not a bug.
