Description of Problem:

Openoffice 2.3 crashes when, after installation is complete, opening on my mac
(667 MHz PowerPC, G4, 10.4.10)


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Download version 2.3 for Mac, PowerPC, 10.4.X
2. Install per instructions
3. Open Openoffice

Actual Results:

Openoffice never actually fully opens.  It crashes and removes the black
triangle from the dock.  Xterm window stays open, though.


Expected Results:

I expected Openoffice to complete the opening sequence.


How often does this happen?

Every time I try to open Openoffice 2.3.x.  From time to time I do another
download from the Openoffice.org site to see if the bug has been fixed.  Problem
still occurrs.


Additional Information (OS patch level, drivers, library
version, etc.)

Mac OSX 10.4.10
.app resides in my Applications folder

Can you please tell us from where you downloaded the archive ?  + the exact name
of the archive ?

This issue is imho duplicated with issue 82329

Please note: If this is from cusoo server, this is unofficial build, just for
testing purpose, and the issue will be closed as invalid
