Description norbert2 2007-10-09 21:02:30 UTC
I heard about the hybrid PDF feature that shall be introduced in OOo 3.0.

I think it should be possible to open these hybrid PDFs directly in OOo, so that
OOo opens the embedded ODF-file in the corresponding application. If the user
saves this file, a hybrid PDF is produced again.

So it would be possible to only have one file per document in a comfortable way
and every one can open it in acrobat!

I really think that this is a good idea.

How can I reach more users and developers to discuss this idea?

Are ODF/PDF hybrid files still on track for 3.0? I hope so. Unfortunately it has
been very silent about this issue the last weeks/months.
