Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 81751
[SV] Save As dialog blocks control characters / cut-n-paste
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:31:14 UTC
When using the 'Save As' dialog or 'Open' dialogs, control characters get treated as if there were no ctrl-modifier. ^X does not cut, it prints an x. ^Z does not undo, it prints a z. ^C does not copy, it prints a C, etc. The package: http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.3.0rc3_20070911/OOo_2.3.0rc3_20070911_MacOSXIntel_X11_install_sv.dmg
Same for Calc, and Impress.
Hi Stefan, can you please have alook at this issue as well? Thx!
This also seems to be a problem for the English version
I looked at OOo DEV300m4. (OOo 3.0 Pre-Beta Developer build on "Leopard") In the native (default) file dialog, cut/copy/paste works only via context. But when changing to OOo dialog in Tools-Options-OOo-General -> Check "Use OOo open/save dialogs" ...then the clipboard in Save As dialog works as expected.
Set target OOo 3.0 Reassigned to macport
When using the native OpenOffice.org command(Apple)+[xcv] should work instead of control, since command, rather than control is the standard modifier key in Mac OS X.
changed component
This issue is targetted to OOo 3.0 but has not been set as a release-blocker. Please retarget it or close if fixed.
set target 3.1
OOo 3.1 is released. Therefore the target of this issue is obsolete. Please recheck the issue and find a concrete target for this issue. Until this I set this issue to target 3.x.
