Description Frank Schönheit 2007-09-03 13:02:26 UTC
This is a follow-up of issue 76024. Therein, it was described that forms which
contain list boxes bound to large tables become effectively unusable, since
traveling through the form is incredibly slow.
The performance problem while traveling has been solved with issue 76024,
however, the performance problem when opening the form for the first time persists.

To reproduce:
- open the document attached to issue 76024
(http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/44162/DB_LbxTest01.odb)
- select "Tables" on the left hand side to ensure the database is connected
- switch back to "Forms"
- double-click the form to open it
=> it takes several seconds to open the form. On my system (some Opteron with
2.2 GHz) alone 6 seconds are spend for filling the list box ...

oops, this should have been 3.x, not 2.x
Comment 2 Frank Schönheit 2007-10-30 15:33:25 UTC
fixed in CWS dba24b. The complete form now opens in 2 seconds on my machine
(specs above). Better than before, /me thinks.
