Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 80379
CWS jl68: Undefined crashes
Last modified: 2007-08-08 12:50:53 UTC
This is a copy of the internal bugreport 150103: CWS jl68 (linux, patch) has a number of currently not evaluated crashes, please look at the crashreport database. There does not appear to be a stack available. At random times a dialog pops up with the title "VCL SAL Frame" stating that the build is not resynced against a "srx 644r Build 8509". When trying to deal with the dialog (e.g. closing) the office crashes instantly.
Reproduction: - Start the application - Open Tools/Options - Work on the dialog for a few seconds - Close dialog with ok -> At this point the office will crash - at the latest. Usually it is sufficient to just use Tools/Options.
Set Linux only
I could not verify this on my machine with either a respin or a patch.
150103 was a duplicate, the crash is not specific to jl68. "Not resynced against srx644..." this must be something acient about 2 year ago or longer. What's up here ???
According to HRO and the stack traces this is an issue which happens also on the master. There exist already an issue for it. Ask OBR for it.
Duplicate of tr149849.
.
Maybe it's a dupe but you won't get the CWS integrated without a fix for it.
I cannot confirm that this also happens on master - all 25+ crashreports have been generated on the CWS, there is not one single occurrence on the MWS (at least not in the group of the crashreports of whom i'm owner) And the the task this issue is said to be duplicate to has target 2.4.
ok, obr confirmed that this issue is indeed a duplicate. warning: Lowest section in system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000 is .hash at ffffe0b4 0xffffe405 in __kernel_vsyscall () (gdb) run The program being debugged has been started already. tr149849 should be fixed for 2.3. Therefore i close this one.
re-open issue to change resolution.
Actually a dupe of issue 79223. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 79223 ***
