Sometimes when we click save or saveas in our documents it shows General I/O 
error even while opening an existing document it shows read error.
This error is coming most of the times now these days.

general I/O error come while saving and it doesn't allow to save any file.

This error comes sometimes while saving, opening, editing file.

Can you give a hint what might cause this IO error? 'Sometimes' is a little 
imprecise to reproduce. Could it be that your tmp directory is full or will be
cleared while working?

i dont know why this error is coming. i am sure that this is not due to tmp 
directory.
i comes frequently.
