Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 78959
When using custom icon sets, the "New Document" icon is fuzzy
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:29:34 UTC
When using custom icon sets, such as the developing Tango one in Ubuntu, the "New Document" which appears in the top-left corner of any OpenOffice application appears fuzzy. Substituting icons of various resolutions does not solve the problem
Did some digging into the Mime type icons and found the following locations that looked promising: res/lx03***.png res/o**_**_8.png res/sx03***.png sfx/res/ln*.png sfx/res/sn*.png svx/res/tr104**.png ... On testing it seems this is a defect. Currently we always use the res/lx* version and scale from 32px to 26px ... so it looks blurry in all themes- yuck! (It just happens that the default theme suffers less). The 32px icon may be used elsewhere, so I don't think it can be simply replaced (unless it is redundant?). Code change is needed to refer to correct MIME type icon. Cheers, Andrew

Can someone please fix this bug soon. Tango is the default icon set used when running OOo on Gnome.

Changing the target to 3.4, not enough resources to do it for OOo3.3.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
