Description Unknown 2002-09-25 02:23:19 UTC
The open office1.0.1 word processor creates a table with only “one” column when
selected to create a table with the maximum allowed columns (16,384).

Bug Reproducible Steps

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000, 5.00.2195, Service Pack 2
132 MB RAM, 192 MB RAM Virtual Memory
Software installed on a network drive
Available Hard Disk Space/ Total Hard Disk Space = 95/781 MB

1.	Start Open Office Word Processor 1.0.1 – A new unnamed file is created
2.	From the ‘Insert’ menu select ‘Table…’ option
3.	In the resulting ‘Insert Table’ window, Enter “1” in the “Rows” field
and “16384” in the “Columns” field
4.	Now press “OK” button
5.	It is observable that the table with only “1” column is displayed
instead of “16384”

Follow up Test

1.	After step “5” above, click in the column and it is observable that the
cursor is in the column.
2.	Now hit “Tab” on the key board
3.	One more Row is added to the table proving that there is only one
column in the table.
