If I use this special build also for my current work

I see there are Icons missing

In this case I get only the text not the icon itself.

I see it in the first step after starting soffice
or opening a spreadsheet
or opening a writer document esp. with a table

I don't test more

In "Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> View -> Benutzeroberfläche"
I use "Automatisch"

If I change to "Standard" there are also the Icons in the Base modul missing

Yes, there was a last-minute problem in build 0.4.0.20070612, caused by some
hardware failure :-\

If you have an share/config/images.zip at hand from a 0.3.0 version, then copy
this one to the new version, and everything should look okay. Alternatively,
wait a few minutes until an images.zip appears in the usual download location,
and place this in share/config.

Sorry for this one.

Build problem is fixed meanwhile, so I set this thing to FIXED.
